HENRY IS 6!
I have made it six years without totally losing my mind. I think that is quite an achievement.
We started off the day with a healthy breakfast. Grandma made French Toast and I gave Henry strawberries and whipped cream. What a treat for a special day. We then spent the rest of the morning playing Mario Kart on the Wii. He was in heaven! Then we sent him to school with his class cupcakes.
After school we set up for the party. I think it turned out totally awesome. His favorite color is green, if you couldn't tell, and he kinda likes SpongeBob. He's really not the biggest fan, but I loved the balloons, so I went with it.
He seemed to put up with the theme alright.
Then we took his best friend/lady love to eat dinner with us at Noodles and Company. They were totally hyper and out of control. But they loved their macaroni and we all had fun.
We then came home for presents and cake. Henry got a new Sonic XBox game from his Nana. And mom and dad gave him a gumball machine and a fishing pole. Also, a remote control Mario Kart racer. Way cool stuff.
The cake was awesome. We let Henry decorate it himself and he had so much fun. Just some green frosting and a couple of Hot Wheels. He was very proud of his work.
I got one picture of my boys together. I don't know why Henry looks so ticked off. Honestly, it's his birthday and he looks like his budgie died. I hope he remembers the day as being fun.
